Plane tickets: Currently as low as $800-1,000 through Condor and WOW Airlines! Fly into Milan (MalPensa) or Turin. You choose! Paolo and will be happy to help you book train travel (so fun!) or bus. We are meeting on Day 1 in Turin and there our services willl begin as we  take a group shuttle to Barolo.

Milan and Turin are approx 45m-1h apart via train and that is what I would suggest using to travel if you are flying into Milan. https://www.trainline.eu/train-times/turin-to-milan . Train tickets are super easy to buy and cost as low as 9 Euro (use the link above). Looking at airline prices, Milan seems to be the best bet for money and ease.

Keep in mind, Turin is the "gateway" to the alps so you could potentially spend a few days in France or Switz if you wanted to fly in there and train down to meet us.

On departure days:

For the short trip you will be leaving from Castello di Razzano where a taxi/shuttle can easily be coordinated for the group to pay the lowest price (Paolo and I Can arrange that for you as the trip approaches). Milan is about 1 hour drive from The Castello.

For the Full trip, Milan airport is only about 30 minutes from Lake Orta and is easily reached by bus or train. Paolo and I will help everyone find transportation out and we can coordinate a group shuttle for anyone departing early am as we get closer to the trip date.

I have been to some stunning venues for yoga retreats over the last 10 years and Emily Lodge Yoga in Italy summer of 2016 was no exception. It was my first trip to Italy! My favorite memories from this trip are not the yoga (don't get me wrong, the yoga was lovely and accessible to all), it was that the retreat was amazingly organized and executed. Emily and her partner in crime, Paolo Ferrero, orchestrated exquisite wine tastings, meals and excursions making every day some what magical. The trip would get my vote for absolute best bang for your buck! So much quality, beautiful and AMAZING dinning and tastings. My cup "ranneth" over!
